Palmetto Shores provides a weekend experience for children from Infants to Grade 5, designed to engage kids in fun and developmentally appropriate ways as they learn more about God. We love children and look forward to meeting yours! We plan a full hour and 15 minutes that includes Bible stories and teaching, songs, crafts, games and hands-on activities. Kids participate in exciting large group settings as well as small group times where friendships can grow. We hope to partner with you for the spiritual growth of your children. This takes place during The Bridge Bible Study and our Sunday Service.

What We Do
Nursery (Newborns-Age 3) We welcome our smallest attenders to enjoy our Nursery located in the main building. Our “Nursery & Crawler’s Room” welcomes newborns up to around their first birthday when they move over to our “Toddlers & Twos Room” where they stay through their third birthday or until they are potty trained.

Bridge Kids (3 years old-5th Grade) We welcome kids three-years old through 5th Grade to join us for our Kids Program at 9 am in the Children’s Units, a smaller, intimate time of study and fun. We also have a light breakfast together.

VICTORY ISLAND (3 years old-5th Grade) During our second service, we dive into God’s Word in age-appropriate small groups.  Kids join together for a large group teaching time followed by small group conversations and activities.  This allows for deeper discussion time and solid biblical teaching in a safe and fun environment.
Safety
Secure Check-in Our reliable system provides tags with matching numbers for parents and children. Children are only released to adults with tags that have matching numbers. Children’s tags also serve as their name tag and includes information about allergies or special needs.

Background Checks All of our staff and volunteer serving team members who work directly with children are screened through an application process and comprehensive background check before they serve.

Wellness Children who have shown signs of fever, vomiting or other contagious illness should be symptom and fever-free for 24 hours before coming to the Kids program.
Your First Visit
You may want to arrive about 15 minutes before the service begins so you can check in your children. Parking for families with children is available, and you can find Victory island crossing the bridge. Come into the Kids Center. (This is the same building for The Learning Center).

A team of helpful people is ready to welcome you and help you get your children checked in. Be sure to share information about allergies or special needs as you register for the first time.

The next time you come, you’ll be in our system and will quickly be able to check in your kids. We encourage you to come to The Bridge Bible Study and our Worship service each week. Your children will benefit from having the same leaders and the opportunity to make lasting friendships with other children!

It’s our pleasure to serve you and your children.

Volunteer
Come serve with us! Whether this is your first step into a serving role or you are a veteran, we’d love to have you join the team. You’re sure to find it a rewarding experience where you’ll meet new friends while making a difference in the lives of children that Jesus loves. We offer a variety of roles to choose from, working directly with kids or behind the scenes. If teaching is your strength, lessons and supplies are provided.
