ATTENTION KIDS & NURSERY FAMILIES

During June, July, and August, nursery and PSC Kids programming will be available during the second service only (10:45AM).

This summer is going to be a blast as we provide a safe, fun, and spiritually enriching environment for your children. With many PSC families welcoming new babies this year (Praise God!), along with a limited number of volunteers, we believe moving to one service is the safest and most effective option for both our children and volunteers during the summer.

As a reminder:

Children in Kindergarten–5th grade will attend the beginning of service with their families and then be dismissed to their classes.
Nursery and preschool children may be dropped off before service begins.
Families are always welcome to come first service and worship together with their kids
Nursing mothers are welcome to enjoy the service upstairs in our new room for nursing mothers where the service will be streamed during both services

Our goal is to see kids and families connected to the family of God to be healed, nurtured, and equipped in the Gospel.

What We Value

“It takes a village” to raise these children and we, as the church, should come alongside the households in teaching them Christ-centered truth and working together.
Cleanliness of spaces used, volunteers approved to serve after having a clear background check, good health for volunteers and kids, age-appropriateness of topics and activities, nurturing environments, and clear policies plus the following-through of those are what we will do to ensure the safety of any child brought to the ministry of PSC Kids.
We desire an environment where kids are taught the same Truth in all services, where there is a sense of stability even when a child’s life outside of church isn’t, where there is relationship familiarity between kids and volunteers, and where spiritual formation and Christ-centrality are the basis of everything done.
We’re cultivating an environment where kids can be kids and experience the joy of the Lord that’s infectious and engaging.
With multi-facets, we desire for the kids, their family units, and the ministry volunteers to grow spiritually.

Lesson

Nursery

*Birth to 3 Years Old*
Our nursery invites little ones to a safe and fun environment where loving volunteers will provide interactive play time as well as an age-appropriate Bible story, teaching about the love and grace of God.

Preschool

*3 Years to Kindergarten*
These little explorers will find their time with us to be packed full of fun and learning. There will be key sermon points that they will learn right along with the families who attend the service. We enjoy bringing the Bible to life with these little ones and eagerly anticipate all the fun we will have each Sunday at Palmetto Shores Church.

**Elementary**
*Kindergarten to 5th Grade*

Elementary students start off with the whole congregation being dismissed after the Palmetto Shores Church worship service. We believe it is imperative for families to worship together and kids to feel a part of the church as a whole. Once dismissed, they spend time studying the same scripture as the congregation, but on an elementary level. Our elementary group enjoy times of small group discussion and application, journalling time and learning how to know Jesus and make all of life about Him.
